Andrew Martin “Test” Obituary.

March 15, 2009 By: Govvy Category: WWE No Comments →

It’s hard to imagine someone who was just into his 30s, looked as fit as you can be, probably kept to a clean diet and exercised a lot. But Andrew Martin just so happened to clock out of life at the age of 33.

Throughout most of his adult life Martin trained as a wrestler, became involved with WWE and TNA wrestling. He was billed as the character Test at 6 foot 6 tall and weighing in at 280lbs. A giant of men he brought strength and power to a business which had a lot of competition equal to what was needed.

As with a lot of other wrestlers they tend to lead their real life’s into their characters life. This is very hard for those fans that like to know the real person. Martin was one of these people, always viewed as Test the wrestler, always seemed to be angry and very often looked like he was powered up on something. At one point in February of 2007 he was terminated from his contract in the WWE for breach of the Wellness Program. (This was a program where the company would test it’s wrestlers for any illegal substances.)

This could be a factor into his death, but one can’t be too sure of all the facts. For instances in July 2004 Martin had spinal fusion surgery, there could have been some long term problems undetected that could of also resulted in his death.

But to say he didn’t serve his life well would be to kick oneself in the teeth. Martin met Bret Hart in a restaurant and had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest wrestling legends of the time. He became a household name in the wrestling business. Acted out his character while winning a number of belts in the process. It is unknown what he has done since his retirement from wrestling in March 2008, unfortunately on the 13 March 2009 he passed away.

WWE Wrestler Chris Benoit and Family found dead.

June 26, 2007 By: Govvy Category: WWE 1 Comment →

I have been following the recently deceased WWE wrestler Chris Benoit news articles and I found it rather interesting. The police have first released a report speculating that the wrestler had killed his wife and son then his son by strangulation. Followed by Chris hanging himself in his gym.

Now at first, when you listen to this and you know who Chris Benoit is doesn’t make sense at all. There are facts missing and questions to ask. The latest thing I noticed in the report on the WWE.com website is now the WWE is questioning the police statement. I would have to agree with the WWE, there is more than meets the eye here.

For example, it was reported that next to each body was a bible. Now I would call this a signature. When it comes to murder-suicides you don’t really get signatures. Now this signature is very key to this investigation. If I was a policeman I would do a check to find out if there have been any other cases where a bible has been left next to a body.

The next thing would be to get a complete report from the autopsy of all the bodies. How they were killed and if it relates in anyway to previous cases where bibles have been left next to bodies.

After that you might be able to start to find the links between cases and along that path is the path to the truth. Where do we go from here? Time will tell, lets hope there is more to learn.

McMahon fakes his death.

June 12, 2007 By: Govvy Category: WWE No Comments →

I was only interested in the WWE draft, what stars are going to which show, I am more into the sport aspect. But the entertainment… The so called character of Mr McMahon in this wrestling opera of late was having a strange turn and now he decided to blow himself up in a fake death. It’s an event like this which really promotes the soap opera and takes away the wrestling.

Sometimes you forget how soap opera this tv show really is, it takes an event like this to blow everything out the holes and drop a load of shit on the industry. Deep down I miss a wrestling business which isn’t rigged. This is not professional wrestling any more, this is just wrestling entertainment! They truly lost the professional long ago.

You know, in a lot of ways, respect for making me take note of the fraud I have been watching and so much disrespect to the business run by a money hog of a business man. In some way I wish he had blown up. But now I am just confused…

Maybe it’s about time I saved myself from being wooled,  because Vincent Kennedy McMahon, you make me sick!
