Another film directed by Uwe Boll that was below par as his normal standard is lower than B movie class.

At the beginning of the film you have a two actors playing an American couple. Terrible, terrible acting there. The next problem is that the location seems off compared to what should be the South Pacific.

The main actor Til Schweiger who plays Jack Carver is okay, seems to have the look of a hardened warrior, but he looks a bit small for the part! Emmanuelle Vaugier as Valerie Constatine is okay in the casting as are most of the other people. Nobody stood out and nothing really stood out that much. Chris Coppola as the food guy was funny-ish and probably one of the better elements to the cast. But it made the feel lighter in regard to what is probably a dark setting.

The filming it’self is clean and there are no problems, but the lack of depth and the fact that Uwe Boll has to get ideas from a computer game say it all. He is determined not to try anything fresh or original. He just seems content on filming C movies for us to destroy our minds.
