Greeting from Mrs. Melinda Cojuangco

Hello Dear,

My name is Mrs. Melinda Cojuangco, I am sorry the way these email came to you but I hope you will understand that it’s out of circumstances that I have contact you.

I am the wife of Late Mr Lucio Cojuangco who was the former Philippines director of mineral resources who was assassinated along side with our son in 2007 in connection with government of Philippines due to greed and jealousy of his wealth.

I am writing you due to what I have suffered here by my late husband’s first wife and her children in connection with the government because the first wife is a relation to the president of Philippines. This is because my late husband willed 70% of his assets to me and my daughter which have been forcefully taken away from me by the first wife and her children with the connections of her sister who is in the presidency.

In one of the envelop I received from my late husband’s lawyer, I saw a deposit certificate and certificate of legalization documents for a security company abroad with a later which explained to me that my late husband deposited a trunk box in a security company which the box contains $23M USD in cash and Black diamond which worth $5M USD.

I am contacting you because I want you to help me in securing the money and help me leave Philippines since the first wife of my late husband through the government now monitor all my movement and also which right now I am leaving in absolute hardship because they stripped me off all my late husband’s assets and left me with nothing. I hope to trust you as you will not sit on this money when you claim it. I am ready to give you 35% of the total money the diamonds for your assistance. If you are willing to help me, I will wait to hear from you so that i will give you more details on how to follow up.

God Bless you as you help.

Mrs. Melinda Cojuangco

If I knew any better I would of thought she was trying to con money out of me! O wait, she is, well then, why is Mr.Richard Wang doing the exact same thing? And for that matter, is the Nigerian Mafia and other pathetic organizations thinking they can still get away with these silly emails. Wake up already criminals, try something new before the Ipolice catch you.

You have a new secure message from Egg

November 03, 2008 By: Govvy Category: IT, Spam No Comments →

Have you gotten this email recently, well I have had quite a few of them recently. I have a feeling that it is a phishing-scam. I warn you not to click on the link, I for sure haven’t. I hope egg.com are warning their customers of the scam also.

From the spam I have received regarding egg.com I think someone  (or a group) might have been trying to use email addresses with my domain name. Trying to create a number of credit card accounts trying to break into egg.com’s security. Alas attempting at fraud and other data-crimes of suspect nature.

So my suggestion to those who are Egg customers, your data and credit information might have been comprimised and for those who aren’t. Simple don’t get an Egg card and I hope you delete the email off your PC.

A report on radiation contamination of United Kingdom email spam

September 12, 2008 By: Govvy Category: IT, Spam, Viruses No Comments →

The body of the email contains:

On Internet forums there appeared messages of a powerful explosion at a United Kingdom nuclear power station located in the suburbs of London..
According to witnesses’ statements the explosion happened at about 3 pm on the 9th of September.
In particular, one resident of this town has made a call and had time to inform her relatives that connection in the town was being cut off in order not to let people phone somebody.
She insists that the explosion really took place at the nuclear power station, and that it was a really powerful one, and now the radiation cloud is moving.
This information is being unofficially confirmed in public agents’ private conversations.

Besides, local residents place pictures of the explosion consequences and victims’ bodies in their blogs.

A warning to those that get this type of email. It seems to have gotten through my spam filters, but it holds a rather nasty little virus with it. So be careful.

@komatoz.net spam

July 19, 2008 By: Govvy Category: IT, Internet, Spam 1 Comment →

I have no idea why this Russian website continues to register user accounts on my site. But very ofter maybe once or twice a month a username will register it’self on my site with an email of address ending in @komatoz.net

Now I am assuming is all to do with spam, trying to get it’s name across the internet to get it’s numbers up. So I believe they must be running a bot. Or someone is running a bot for them. I don’t know if it is just targetting me or is infact targetting others. But what I do know it is targetting wordpress which is what I am running.

So beware people, the komatoz.net is spamming.
